Our outplacement product, Careers In Transition (CIT), assists organizations in managing career transition initiatives with skill, compassion and distinction. At Talent Curve, we believe that outplacement activities must support organizations and their employees in the current economy which presents challenges not experienced in the last seventy years. We also believe that employees must prepare for the many jobs they may have in their futures and understand the philosophy that “this is not their last job”.
Outplacement is a critical factor in business today, and Talent Curve through its Careers In Transition Program can help employees find their path of optimal contribution and satisfaction while supporting the needs of the organization to continue meeting business requirements.
Talent Curve provides a unique blend of online and face-to-face services customized to meet the needs of employees and the organization. Together, Talent Curve and the organization create the blend of services – online, telephonic, and face-to-face - to accommodate best the preferences, requirements, and budget of the organization. Career Counselors interact with their clients via the Internet (live chat, test messaging and email), telephonically, and face-to-face. Services include assessments to enable clients to understand the most suitable jobs and careers and workshops on highly relevant career and education topics such as resume writing, interviewing skills, and networking delivered through several modes including synchronous, asynchronous, teleconferencing and face-to-face. Career Counselors focus on job search processes and techniques relevant to the challenging economy and job market and on helping clients identify and obtain the education and training to meet career aspirations.
The Talent Curve Careers In Transition website is useful to clients both in conjunction with a Career Counselor and as a stand-alone tool. The website encourages clients to pursue six distinct steps in the career transition process: REFLECT on goals, EXPLORE what is needed to create a plan, VISUALIZE to understand what the plan looks like when implemented; DEFINE obstacles to be able to resolve and overcome them; EVALUATE progress and renegotiate for success; CELEBRATE successes both small and large.
Talent Curve offers a blend of career transition services which enables the organization to make a powerful organizational statement about their ability to maintain trust and respect and enables employees to “land” successfully in vocational and educational situations which meet their goals. Downsizing presents challenges to both organizations and employees, those who leave and those who stay. Talent Curve is in the business of making these transitions address job loss through a constructive approach that is realistic, supportive, and encouraging.
